| Description of Activities | This farm breeds alpacas. Youve likely seen alpacas in ads on TV, but they are even more magical up close! In addition, we process their fiber into exquisite yarns. Some are 100% alpaca and others have been blended with Merino or Cormo. I dye, knit and felt many of the yarns and hats, scarves, and handbags that are available for sale in our Farm Store. There will be discussions of animal husbandry and pasture management, including rotational grazing and mowing. There will be hand spinning and fiber dying demonstrations |
