| Description of Activities | Sweetgrass Farm Winery and Distillery uses Maine grown fruits to produce fine wines and distinctive spirits. Our wines and ports include apple, cranberry, blueberry and peach. The distilled spirits are hand crafted in old world tradition with copper alembic still capturing the full flavors of our Back River Gin, rum, and fruit brandies. Learn about wine production from award-winning winemaker and owner on our farm preserving Union's rich farming tradition. Hike our trails and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Medomak River Valley. Sweetgrass Farm is a family run business firmly rooted in the community, supporting local sustainable agriculture, and donating 10% of profits to organizations which support families, children and rural life.
