| Description of Activities | The Heirloom Garden of MaineOn a nineteenth century farmstead setting, The Heirloom Garden of Maine preserves and propagates old-fashioned plants that were common in early American and Victorian gardens. Native, ornamental and vegetable plants are grown on the farm. Plants discovered by Lewis and Clark during their exploration of the American West and plants used by American Shakers and Native Americans for medicines and dyes are grown. A farm store features specialty products and decorations handmade at the farm. Enjoy an heirloom vegetable and edible flower tasting. |
