| Location | Orono: Belgrade Road, U of M. From I-95, take the Stillwater exit and continue toward Old Town, turning right onto College Avenue. Turn left into the UM campus at the Alfond Hockey Rink, go to Flagstaff Road and turn right. Continue to the Maine Centre for the Arts, go one block and turn left into the parking lot. The big white barn on your left is the Page Farm and Home Museum. From Rt. 2 in Old Town, turn right into the UM campus on Flagstaff Road. Turn left on Belgrade Road, continue to the Maine Centre for the Arts and go one more block, turn left into the parking lot and look for the big white barn. |

| Description of Activities | The Page Farm and Home Museum is located in the last original agricultural building on the University of Maine campus. The museum houses an ever-growing collection of farm implements and household items. Equipment and vehicles having to do with everything from clearing land to harvesting and storing crops are displayed. Some of the many exhibits include Poultry, Dairy, 4-H and Ice Harvesting. There is a blacksmith shop and a one-room schoolhouse. On Open Farm Day there will be tours of the museum, grounds and field day activities after noon. Activities will include a blacksmithing demonstration, heritage garden tours, ice cream making demo and taste tests, field games for children and adults. There will be a potluck picnic at noon. Check out our new haying exhibit. HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE. |
